Keep customer areas and back-of-house work separate
For a Canton facility with visitors and staff working to different schedules, one blanket checklist can leave responsibility unclear. Split the public areas from staff rooms and any shop or production support space.
Plan the work by facility use
These examples help define the walkthrough. They are planning scenarios, not descriptions of a named customer’s building.
| Facility use | Scope to define | Scheduling decision |
|---|---|---|
| Customer spaces | Entries, glass and floors | Complete agreed preparation before opening |
| Staff facilities | Restrooms and breakrooms | Match frequency to actual use |
| Shop support | Only the rooms and tasks listed | Keep equipment work outside routine assumptions |
More than 30 years in the Canton market
Canton and North Canton are the largest part of our client base and our longest-running market. Clean Facility has worked here for more than 30 years, as part of an Ohio company operating since 1993.
Tenure is only worth mentioning because of what it changes operationally. We already know the buildings, the industrial corridors and the labor market here. Recruiting a cleaner for a Canton plant is a local hiring problem, and being long established in the market is the reason we can staff a site without pulling a crew across the region and calling it local coverage.
The work here is largely manufacturing and industrial, alongside the offices, public areas and customer-facing space those companies operate.

Different work zones in one building
A Canton industrial site usually has an office suite, a customer-facing entrance and a production area under one roof. Those three parts are judged differently and should be scoped differently.
The front of the building is inspected by visitors: entrance glass, reception, customer restrooms and the walk-off matting that decides how much soil reaches the rest of the floor. The office suite behaves like any professional office. The production area is a different job with different rules, different PPE and different exclusions.
Writing one task list for the whole address is how a proposal ends up cheap and disappointing. We scope the three zones separately, give each its own frequency, and let you see which part of the price belongs to which part of the building.
| Zone | What drives the frequency |
|---|---|
| Customer-facing entrance | Visitor traffic, glass, matting and restroom use |
| Office suite | Headcount, meeting-room use and clear-surface rules |
| Break and locker rooms | Shift population and changeover times |
| Production-support floor | Soil type, floor material and the production calendar |
| Overhead and structural | Particulate load, on a separate periodic cycle |
What a Canton program costs, and why
Our recurring programs start at $1,000 per month. Smaller one-off projects are quoted separately. That is our minimum for a managed recurring program; one-time projects are quoted separately.
Above the minimum, price follows the scope rather than the square footage. Cleanable area is one input. The others are visit frequency, restroom count, floor materials, the starting condition of the building, supply responsibility and any periodic project. A building with a floor that needs restoring before a maintenance schedule can hold it is a project plus a program, not a cheaper program.
When you compare bids, compare the task lists first and the monthly totals second. Two Canton proposals can include different tasks and frequencies, so the headline prices alone do not show which offers better value.

Inspection is the product
Every account is inspected on a 92-point checklist on a six-week cycle. In July 2026, nine scored inspections averaged 96.67 out of 100 and company attendance was 95.45 percent.
We treat the inspection as the thing you are actually buying. Anyone can put a crew in a building. The question is what happens in week seven, when the novelty has gone and nobody from the cleaning company has looked at the work.
The 92-point checklist is scored against your agreed scope, so an excluded task is never counted as a failure. A falling score triggers more frequent checks and support for the team, not a note in a file. GPS clock-in and clock-out records confirm attendance and are read alongside the score, because presence is not performance.
Define what must be ready when the doors open
An entrance, customer restroom and showroom may set the first impression long before a visitor sees the rest of the building. For a Canton customer-facing facility, identify the opening-time standard for those areas. Then set the cleaning window that makes it possible.
Include glass faces and floor areas in the room list. If furniture, displays or vehicles limit access, agree who moves them and when. Those details prevent a general instruction such as “clean the showroom” from becoming an unresolved expectation.
Make the supply agreement visible
Restocking paper towels does not answer who buys them. Our service checklist distinguishes replenishment tasks from other work, and the proposal needs to assign purchasing as well. Record storage locations and who the team should contact when stock is low.
The same approach applies in a breakroom. Appliance exteriors and refrigerator interiors are different tasks. Our checklist lists interior appliance work as a special request. Putting that choice in writing helps the client and cleaner inspect the same scope.
Keep detail work on its own schedule
Routine floor cleaning will not replace every periodic treatment. During the Canton walkthrough, identify any carpet extraction or other floor project you want included. Decide whether it belongs in the recurring price or a separate project.
A useful review compares delivery to the contracted task. Our inspections every six weeks score that work, while the 42-day check-in gives you a chance to review service and changes with the manager. Keep the area and task specific when you report an issue through Swept or your contact.
Arrange a Canton facility review
Reach the Northeast Ohio team at 234-262-9009. Bring the details that affect opening readiness:
- Customer hours and the cleaning window.
- The public areas and staff areas to include.
- Who moves displays and supplies consumables.
- Periodic work and any shop areas that require separate instructions.
- The split between customer-facing, office and production areas.
- Floor types and any starting-condition problem.
- Periodic floor, carpet or high-dusting work you want priced.
Your questions,
answered.
Do you serve both Canton and North Canton?
Yes. Clean Facility has teams and active engagements in both markets and can discuss a coordinated account.
What is the difference between limited and full service?
The difference is in the agreed task list. Full service adds selected detail work; special projects still need a defined scope. We compare the tasks with you before quoting.
Are floor projects part of the monthly price?
Only if the proposal includes them. The scope should state the surface, method, frequency and timing of any periodic floor work.
Can you work around shift changes?
We review staff hours and available access during the walkthrough before proposing a service schedule.
How do we start a Canton quote?
Use the quote form or contact our Northeast Ohio team. Share the facility location, building use and the cleaning issues you want addressed.
How long has Clean Facility served Canton?
More than 30 years. Canton and North Canton together are the largest part of our client base.
Do you clean industrial and manufacturing sites in Canton?
Yes, and they are most of our Canton work. We serve every other facility type in the market as well.
What is the minimum for a Canton cleaning contract?
Recurring programs start at $1,000 per month. One-off projects are quoted separately.
How should we compare two Canton cleaning bids?
Compare the task lists and frequencies first, then the monthly total. Check whether initial condition work, periodic floor care and supply purchasing are included or priced as extras.
How often do you inspect a Canton account?
Every six weeks, on a 92-point checklist scored against your agreed scope.
Can you cover night and weekend shifts in Canton?
Yes. We run all shifts in this market.
